Presentation of Corinne MONTANARD

Corinne started painting, end of 2007, without having any rudiments of the art. As a matter of fact, her paintings are visual echoes of her "elliptique" music (as illustrated by the "Ellipse" duet) insofar as they are instantly and spontaneously improvised performances without any precise subject to start with... Each and every painting progressively reveals itself to her at the very moment she is making it : in this world of artistic creation where reason recedes, the eye becomes the beholder of an unconscious imagination gradually uncovered by surprisingly figurative forms.
